Snuggle Shield® was founded by Nicole Noar — a labor & delivery nurse, lactation consultant, and mom — after she gave birth to her first son and couldn’t find a baby cover that truly offered the protection she was looking for. Concerned about exposure to airborne germs, wildfire smoke, and extreme heat, she decided to design a solution herself. With her clinical background and firsthand understanding of what new parents need, Snuggle Shield® was born.
Nicole’s mission was simple: to help families feel safe and supported from day one. What started as a personal necessity quickly grew into a movement embraced by parents around the world.
